Lately, I've discovered that "Inspiration" is a source of renewable energy that fuels my creative passion, but it has to be constant or else that passion could burn out.Earlier I was on Deviant Art looking for my next 'hit' before engaging in a bout of figure drawing. I stumbled upon this cute tutorial that had made my life a helluva lot simpler. Hitherto, I've been guilty of drawing the contour of the body first in any given study, i mean, C'mon! Who could resist those dangerous curves? (Hi Megra!!). However, there is another method to capture a gesture of the body via reducing it to its raw geometric shapes.
Basically, I have to adopt a new way of thinking, like when Neo first learned about the Matrix!!
I need to look past the flesh and see the source code....and here's the fruit of my labour:
